Data and Infrastructure Officer

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering / Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Background in Systems Engineering, Administration including design, transition, and operations/support of IT services.
  • Knowledge in: Virtualization Platforms (Hyper-V), Database Platforms (MS SQL, MySQL, Cloud DBs), Server OS Platforms (Window, Cloud Applications, Backup Software, Cloud Infrastructure,
  • Desktop Virtualization Platforms Infrastructure (SAN, VMware Virtual SAN), Server Infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server roles including AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS / Terminal Services.
  • Knowledge or Internships in Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Machine Learning, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Good command of English
  • Good analytical, planning, time management, and teamwork skills.
Job Description

  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
  • Manage and maintain all Windows systems, security, and system configurations.
  • Assist with the design, documentation, and implementation of all system changes affecting the delivery of IT services.
  • Develop SQL reporting service. – Analyze data warehousing, Big data, and database management systems.
  • Take ownership of users’ issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues.
  • Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Advise architecture, product development, and production environments on technical hardware and software issues.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of systems.
