ACTS First Fire Resistance Laboratory In KSA Receives Endorsement From The Saudi Civil Defense And The Saudi Accreditation Committee.

Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS), a leading third-party engineering firm specialized in Testing, Inspection, Certification, Engineering Services and Knowledge & Education in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia, has recently launched the “Fire Resistance & Reaction to Fire Testing” service in Dammam - Saudi Arabia.

Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS), one of the few firms in the Middle East and the premier in KSA, provides fire safety testing and inspection services through its state-of-art fire testing laboratory that allows companies to test their building products according to Saudi Building Code 201 (General Requirements), Code 801 (Saudi Fire Code), GCC Code, the International Building Code (IBC) and International Fire Code (IFC). The fire testing and inspection services provided by ACTS cover a wide range of global standards such as ASTM, ISO, BS-EN, UL and NFPA standards, under its scope of accreditation. The new service offers testing and certification of building products such as fire doors, walls, glazed partitions, and ceilings. It tests the fire performance of load-bearing elements, skylights, and roof assemblies in vertical and horizontal loading. ACTS fire testing laboratory is accredited by the International Accreditation Services (IAS), the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAC) and the Gulf Accreditation Center (GAC). It has also been approved by the Saudi Civil Defense.

Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS) has also been selected by Global Certification Agencies to conduct fire testing for product certification in Saudi Arabia.
