The project consists of conducting geotechnical study around the City of Kigali at an 80 kms of ring roads identified to increase mobility and reduce traffic congestion in the city. 

ACTS scope of work includes conducting a geotechnical investigation of the underground consisting of drilling 1300 linear meters in total all around Kigali in order to assess the underground conditions. 

Furthermore, ACTS performed many in-situ testing and laboratory testing on the material recovered. 

This Ring Road will provide an optional route for commercial transit cargo and ideally reduce traffic congestion in the City of Kigali as it is provided for in the City's Master Plan.
