ACTS is honored to be a part of the pavement assessment project at Kigali International Airport (KIA), a crucial initiative that supports Rwanda's growing aviation sector. This project involves a comprehensive evaluation of the airport's pavement condition, aiming to:

Extend Pavement Lifespan: By identifying potential issues and recommending preventative measures, the assessment will contribute to extending the lifespan of KIA's pavement infrastructure. This translates to cost savings and minimizes disruption to airport operations.

Optimize Maintenance Strategies: The project will provide valuable data that helps KIA develop data-driven maintenance plans. This allows for targeted repairs and resource allocation, ensuring efficient maintenance practices.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Employing NDT techniques to assess the underlying condition of the pavement structure without causing damage. This may involve techniques like Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) or Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) testing.
